Top priority

"Never allow someone to your priority while allowing yourself to be their option."

This is my favorite quote!  Well at least of the top ones..at first it comes off sounding pretty selfish and conceited. And I am sure that it shouldn't (as most quotes/sayings) apply to EVERYTHING in life but I feel like this can be a pretty good motto to live by. Not that you shouldn't CARE about others but I definitely think that in any type of relationship or situation if you are not on equal standing/respect then it really is problematic.
